Pilot phase

The specifications for the label were drawn up in 2022 and tested in 4 residences.

After adjustments and amendments by the committee of label partners, the specifications are applied to all interested residences in 5 conurbations: Dijon, Reims, Sceaux, Troyes and Toulouse.

L'AVUF and the 5 local authorities concerned undertake to roll out and support the introduction of the label, and then to analyse the beneficial or unexpected effects of this approach to quality and transparency. During this pilot phase, the label may be extended to other areas, either because the local authority so requests, or because managers of residences already awarded the label in the first 5 areas wish to have other residences audited.

This pilot phase began in August 2023 and will continue until mid-2025. without any major changes to the specifications. In July 2025, an overall assessment will be carried out, initially by the managers of the residences and local authorities concerned, which will make it possible to propose any changes to the specifications to the partners' committee. The resulting new grid will be used for residences applying for certification for the 1era However, it will not be enforceable against residences that have already been awarded the label on the basis of the pilot specifications.
